The Basics
TruthOrBluff shows you 4 statements about a topic. Only 1 is true — the other 3 are convincing bluffs designed to fool you. Your job is to spot the real fact.
After you answer, the game reveals the truth and explains why each bluff was wrong — including the psychological trick used to make it believable.

Difficulty Levels
Each quiz has a difficulty level that tells you what to expect:
- Rookie (Ages 8+) — Fun, simple facts. Bluffs are clearly silly.
- Curious (Ages 12+) — Surprising facts. Bluffs are more believable.
- Sharp (Ages 16+) — Obscure facts. Bluffs use partial truths.
- Expert (Ages 18+) — Deep-cut knowledge. Bluffs could fool enthusiasts.
- Mastermind (Ages 18+) — All 4 statements sound equally believable.
Game Features
Multiplayer (1-10 players)
Add up to 10 players or teams. The game rotates turns and tracks scores. A leaderboard shows final rankings.
Timer Mode
Add pressure with a countdown timer: Slow (45s), Normal (30s), or Fast (15s). When time runs out, the correct answer is revealed and play moves on.
Hints
Stuck? Use a hint to eliminate one wrong answer. You get 3 hints per quiz, but using one means a correct answer is only worth half a point.
Convince Mode (Multiplayer)
Everyone sees the 4 statements at once, secretly picks their answer, then argues for their choice for 2 minutes before the truth is revealed. Bluffing is encouraged!
Streaks
Get 3+ correct in a row for bonus visual flair. Hit 10 in a row for an "UNSTOPPABLE!" streak!
